Living out of a suitcase is never easy but Kieron Pollard makes it look simple.
The towering West Indian, just captained his country in a T20 series against Afghanistan in Lucknow and then hopped on a plane and arrived in Abu Dhabi.
And the 32-year-old wasted little time in marking his imprint in the Aldar Properties Abu Dhabi T10 League.
The Trinidadian bludgeoned his way to an unbeaten knock of 45 runs from 22 deliveries, laced with four sixes and a boundary to make the Deccan Gladiators' chase of Karnataka Tuskers' target look a tad too easy.
The Gladiators won by five wickets and with nine balls to spare at the Zayed Cricket Stadium on Monday.
And captain Shane Watson spoke it glowing terms about Pollard's innings. "We are very fortunate to have Kieron coming into our team and really strengthen our middle order in particular," said Watson.
"The way he bats in general, not just today but with an over like he showed today can take a game away from the opposition. I'm just very glad for our sake as team that we have got Kieron on our side and not playing against him," he added.
Hashim Amla, the Tuskers skipper said: "A player of his calibre, when that happens you cannot do anything."
