The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Authority (DMCC) paid tributes to late basketball icon Kobe Bryant by sharing the legend's association with them during  his visit here in Dubai in September 2013.
The DMCC had hosted Kobe Bryant during the health and fitness weekend, which was the basketball superstar's first trip to Middle East, which included a celebrity basketball game, youth clinic and slam dunk competition.
Ahmed bin Sulayem, DMCC executive chairman, said: "My deepest condolences to Vanessa Bryant, and the family of Kobe Bryant. His Number 24 will forever be with us. Here is to my greatest of all time."
DMCC had presented Kobe Bryant with a DMCC Free Zone business licence that enabled the basketball star and business mogul to operate a business from Dubai with 100 per cent ownership and zero corporate tax."
