Indian Premier League teams have started landing in the UAE. Chennai Super Kings are expected to reach the UAE today. Shane Watson has been one of the first CSK players to arrive in the UAE for Indian Premier League.

The IPL players and support staff need to follow protocols and they would undergo 5 Covid 19 tests before entering into biosecure bubble.

Off-spinner Harbhajan Singh will join the squad in the UAE a week later as he delayed his departure due to personal reasons.

The Australian all-rounder shared a video of himself on Twitter showing the iconic Burj Khalifa. Watson has been put up in a hotel where he will be in isolation for seven days.

Watson in the video looks in a jolly mood and enjoying the night view of the city from his Burj Khalifa facing hotel room.
"I have arrived in the UAE and I am now quarantined for 7 days with a few Covid testing to make sure everything is okay. I am getting used to being in a room with plenty to do.

"I have got a beautiful view of the Burj Khalifa. It is really stunning.
"I am going to be doing some exercises, walking up and down my room, listening to podcasts, plenty of 'T20 Stars' stuff as well as my preparation, getting ready for the CSK training camp. I am so excited to be here for another IPL campaign and this experience will be quite different," Watson said in a video message.
