ICC World Cup: India vs New Zealand match called off

Dubai - Points have been shared between the two teams.

The India vs New Zealand ICC World Cup match at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, has been called off.
After repeated spells of rain, and periodic inspection by umpires, it was decided to cancel the match. India and New Zealand will now share points.
New Zealand have played three World Cup matches so far and sit at the top of the table along with Australia with six points, with the latter much behind on the net run rate (+2.163 for New Zealand and +0.570 for Australia).

India have so far played two World Cup matches and sit fourth on the table with four points.
