Godolphin handler Charlie Appleby is on a roll at the moment with the Englishman landing a hat trick of wins in the eighth race meeting of the Dubai World Cup Carnival on Thursday night.
Appleby, the leading trainer at the Carnival with 13 of 18 wins for the racing operation, prior to this weekend, conjured a raft of winners at the Meydan Racecourse.
After new arrival Spotify won the Group 3 Dubai Millennium Stakes on turf, Divine Image clinched the Group 3 UAE Oaks.
And he completed the night with Mythical Magic winning the Group 2 Zabeel Mile on turf, beating Century Dream by three lengths.
Earlier, Spotify notched his second win on the trot by clinching the Group 3 Dubai Millennium Stakes.
The mount of James Doyle and one of four of leading Carnival trainer Charlie Appleby's runners, Spotify won by a short head over stablemate Racing History.
Godolphin took all three spots up top with Racing History trained by Saeed bin Suroor and ridden by Christophe Soumillon second and Appleby's First Nation, the ride of William Buick, coming third.
Fourth and fifth were Godolphin's as well with bin Suroor's Team Talk and Appleby's Oasis Charm finishing in that order in the 10-furlong affair.
"I could feel him physically lower down and stick his head out when the second horse joined me. So, full credit to the horse," said Doyle.
"He will have to raise his game a bit to get into something on Super Saturday. There will be plenty of nice races for him in Europe in the summer. So, I think that was what Charlie was aiming for. He showed a nice burst in the straight and he is quite versatile, the mile and a half would not be a problem for him," he added.
Meanwhile, Appleby commended his jockey. "First, it was a great ride by James on the front end. He got him into a nice rhythm. The horse digs deep when they come to him. Full credit to him," said Appleby.
"We thought he came forward from that last start and coming back in trip would suit. Good performance and delighted for the team. That might be his Carnival wrapped up for him. We will point him to a European campaign. As always, we'll get them back and see how they are and regroup. We had a strong team of horses in there and it was always going to be a tactical race and James got his fractions right on the front end," added the Englishman.
Ekhtiyaar did his chances no harm for the Group 1 $2 million Al Quoz Sprint, by striding to a commanding victory in the Land Rover Discovery.
The five-year-old from Bated Breath and the charge of six-time UAE Champion handler Doug Watson, Ekhtiyaar won by 5.25 lengths over Riflescope. It was a top performance from Ekhtiyaar in a 14-horse field that included Love Dreams, Another Batt and Intisaab, over the six furlongs run on turf.
Earlier, the evening got off to a start with Rodaini pulling off an upset in the Jaguar F PACE, a 1400 metres handicap. Trained by Ahmad bin Harmash, the five-year-old son of Exchange Rate, stunned a field that included the highly-rated Gold Town and Honorable Treasure.
The ride of Connor Beasley, Rodaini won by a short head over Moqarrab, for his seventh win in 21 starts.
