India won the toss and elected to field in the Super Four match against Bangladesh at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
Ravindra Jadeja has come in place of the injured Hardik Pandya for Friday's game.
India won both of their matches in Group A against Hong Kong and Pakistan, while Bangladesh lost to Afghanistan in Group B by 136 runs in Abu Dhabi on Thursday night.
They had won their first match against Sri Lanka, who were knocked out of the tournament by Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, in the other Super Four game in Abu Dhabi on Friday, Afghanistan elected to bat after winning the toss against Pakistan.
Star fast bowler Mohammad Amir is dropped by Pakistan.
