DUBAI – Eoin Morgan smashed a 35-ball 68 as Kolkata Knight Riders posted 191/7 against Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League match in Dubai on Sunday.

In a fight for the playoff spot, Morgan shared a quickfire 45-run stand with Andre Russell (11-ball 25) and 40-run partnership with Pat Cummins (11-ball 15). The foundation for the flourish was laid by opener Shubman Gill (24-ball 36) and Rahul Tripathi (34-ball 39).

Rahul Tewatia was the pick among the Rajasthan bowlers with three wickets for 25 runs and the attack was well supported by Jofra Archer, who gave away only 19 from his four overs in what at the end turned out to be a run fest.
