Hardik Pandya blasted 21-ball 60, including seven towering sixes and two boundaries, to power Mumbai Indians to 195/5 against Rajasthan Royals in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.

Hardik had scored only 5 runs when he was dropped by Rahul Tewatia and the Gujarati made Rajasthan pay dearly. He smashed 27 runs each from Rajasthan’s 18th over bowled by Ankit Rajpoot and final over by Kartik Tyagi as 79 were scored from the last five overs.

Hardik shared a 64-run partnership with Saurabh Tiwary (25-ball 34) and 30-run stand with his brother Krunal, who made just 3.

There were contributions at the top with an 83-run second-wicket partnership between Ishan Kishan’s (36-ball 37) and Suryakumar Yadav (26-ball 40) as Mumbai amassed in excess of 190 once again in Abu Dhabi.

For Rajasthan, pacer Jofra Archer (2 for 31) and spinner Shreyas Gopal (2 for 30) were among the wickets.
