What are you reading now?
The Red Queen by Philippa Gregory, the second book of a four-part novel series. Gregory is known for painting an accurate picture of war-torn England and the trail of blood that led to the throne.

A book that changed your life?
For me, it was The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. It gave me an insight into basic human nature and outlines the seven basic principles of a successful life, urging me to re-evaluate my purpose and goals in life. My favourite excerpt is, "Sow a thought, reap an action. Sow an action, reap a habit. Sow a habit, reap a character. Sow a character, reap a destiny."

A book you think is underrated?
All of Karen Rose's books. She's a remarkable crime/ thriller novelist. Her stories get readers hooked, with many unexpected twists and turns. The murderer is always someone least expected and Rose always manages to keep the mystery alive till the end.

Your favourite book quote - and why?
"It is our choices that show what we truly are, far more than our abilities." - Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. This remains my favourite quote. We are a product of our choices. They define our character and shape our destiny. Highly proactive people don't blame their circumstances or conditioning, they make conscious decisions and take responsibility for them.
