Raabihah is being primed for the prestigious Group 1 Prix de Diane in June following her impressive win in the Prix de la Seine at the Longchamp Racecourse in France on Thursday.
Raabihah, owned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Minister of Finance, won the listed one-mile-and-three-furlong affair on turf by a comprehensive four lengths over American Apples at the racetrack in Paris.
Raabihah, the three-year-old daughter of Sea The Stars, is now almost certainly being lined up for the Prix de Diane, known as the French Oaks, at the Chantilly Racecourse on June 14.
Trainer Jean-Claude Rouget confirmed that Raabihah, the mount of Cristian Demuro, confirmed that she will have one more ride between now and the French Oaks.
"We will now target the Prix de Diane and she'll probably have another race beforehand. That might well be the Prix Saint-Alary or Prix Cleopatre," said Rouget.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum owns Shadwell Racing, one of the oldest racing operations in the UAE and the world.
The European racing season, which was disrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic, resumed at Longchamp on Monday with Godolphin's Victor Ludorum, last year's Group 1 Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner, finishing third in the Group 3 Prix de Fontainebleau.
