Dubai-based startup, SelfDrive.ae has launched 'Microlease' the regions first car subscription service which claims to be a a new alternative to owning or leasing a car.
Microlease is on demand monthly car subscription service offers a option to switch cars every month as per his (or) her requirement with no long term commitments.
Selfdrive.ae - operational since 2017 - partners with car manufacturers, dealer networks and leasing companies to offer a complete range of cars starting from economy, Mid Size Saloons, Compact SUVs, MUVs and 4x4 SUVs. The startup has raised $150,000 in crowd funding and plans to raise up to $2 million in early 2020.
Soham Shah, founder and director, SelfDrive.ae, said: "Microlease is one of our custom designed product for the region that would offer  flexibility to customers for on demand monthly car subscription starting from one month going up to 36 months with monthly rates starting from Dh999 per month."
Selfdrive.ae platform currently operates a fleet of 600 cars on road and intents to reach 1,000 cars by end of 2019. The company also has plans to add 3,000 cars with plans to expand its services across GCC.
