Chefs of a Chinese food company created a Guinness World Record for making the largest noodle in the world. The noodle measures 3,084 mts (10,119 ft 1.92 inches) and is made with 40kg of bread flour, 26.8 litres of water and 0.6 kg of salt.
What surprises, even more, is the fact that the record-setting noodle is entirely handmade and cooked by chefs from Xiangnian Food Co. Ltd for following the traditional ramen noodle recipe.
According to Guinness World records website, it took the chefs 17 hours to roll out the noodle and three hours for Guinness World records officials to measure it. The noodle was cooked in garlic, egg and tomato sauce, and served to 400 employees and guests present to witness the event.
