The UAE embassy issued a warning to its citizens in Jakarta in light of the recent events regarding the tsunami in Indonesia that took the lives of 281 and injured more than 1,000.

"The UAE Embassy in Jakarta continues to monitor the progress of events happening along the Sunda Strait in Indonesia.
"We advise our citizens to exercise extreme caution and communicate with the embassy in the event of any emergency."
"The UAE Embassy in Jakarta is also monitoring the tide levels in Anyer area. We urge citizens to call +62215206518 for all queries or emergencies that may arise."
