In a bizarre accident in China, a car suffered a dented front bumper after it collided head-on with a bicycle. However, in the aftermath of the collision while the car was badly damaged, the cycle seemed unscathed.
A picture from the accident went viral which shows the car's bumper totally squashed after crashing into the bicycle. The picture triggered speculations if it was fake after it was widely circulated on Chinese social media websites.
The accident reportedly took place in the city of Shenzen in South China apparently when the cyclist was driving in the wrong direction, leading to collision with the car, reported News18.
After the picture caused much hubbub on social media with many questioning its authenticity, local police assured that it was not edited and also released a video of the site of the accident, according to Shanghaiist. The video shows a damaged car and an intact bicycle as bystanders can be seen watching in disbelief.
The picture received hilarious comments on social media and one person wrote: 'Nokia makes bikes now?' While another wrote: 'Can someone tell me what brand bicycle that is before it gets sold out?'
Fortunately no one was reported to be injured in the accident.
