UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Kuwait to hold meeting in Makkah

The leaders agreed to discuss means of supporting Jordan to overcome its current crisis.

The Saudi Royal Court on Friday said that Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait and the UAE will hold a meeting in Makkah on Sunday.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the statement said: "Emanating from his care for the condition of Arab nation as well as his keenness on whatever achieves security and stability for the Arab nation, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been following the economic crisis in Jordan and has made telephone calls to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Sabah of Kuwait. They agreed to hold a meeting comprising the four countries in Makkah on Sunday, to discuss means of supporting Jordan to overcome its current crisis."
The Arab Parliament praised the call of King Salman for holding a meeting to support Jordan and maintain its security and stability.
In a statement to SPA, Arab Parliament Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al Salami thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his efforts to support Jordan.
