In a tragic incident, a Saudi succumbed to a heart-attack after saving his two daughters from drowning in a pool in Jazan city. Ahmad Ali Joubran Sharahili complained of chest pain and breathing problems shortly after he along with several others managed to pull the girls out of the water, Step Feed quoted Sabq news site reports.
According to details, the family was celebrating their son's graduation while the two sisters were playing near the pool when supposedly they fell inside the water. Sharahili, who suffered from heart ailments and had even undergone an open heart surgery 10 years ago, jumped into the pool to save his daughters.
Speaking to the local news outlet, one of the relatives of the grieving family, Mohammed Ali Sharahili said, "The family was in a chalet celebrating their son's recent graduation when the incident took place. Even though the girls' father felt ill when he came out of the water, the first thing he asked was about his daughters. He asked to see them make sure they were alright."
The relative added that Sharahili complained of chest pain soon after saving the girls and was rushed to the hospital where he died two days later.
