Saudi Arabia bans work under the sun from June 15

According to arab news, the employers in Saudi Arabia have been banned from have their employees carry out the work under the sun from 12pm to 3pm, starting June 15 until September 15, 2016.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Development of Saudi Arabia, has made an announcement concerning the working hours during the summer months.

A local publication in Saudi Arabia also reported that the oil and the gas workers have been exempted from this restriction, but ample measures are to be taken to protect them as well, said Fahad bin Abdullah Al Awaidi, the undersecretary for inspections and improvement of the work environment at the ministry.
As reported by arab news, Fahad bin Abdullah Al Awaidi added that the ministry in Saudi Arabia was attempting at making the work environment in the country safe for workers and trying to prevent injuries and accidents at workplace.
