Funeral prayers offered for Christchurch terrorist attack victims in Makkah, Madinah

Funeral prayer in absentia (also known as Salat Al-Ghayib) had been offered for the victims of Christchurch terrorist attack at the Grand Mosque in the holy city of Makkah.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the funeral prayer had also been offered at the holy prophet's mosque in the holy city of Madinah after the Friday (March 22) prayers. 
During the prayers, the faithful were led by Sheikh Maher Al-Me'aiqli (Imam of the Grand Mosque) in Makkah and by Sheikh Abdullah Al-Be'aijan (Imam of the holy prophet's mosque) in Madinah.
The imams prayed to Almighty Allah to have mercy on the souls of the terrorist attack victims and also accept them as martyrs. They also prayed to Almighty Allah to grant patience to the families and relatives of the victims and for the speedy recovery of the ones injured during the incident.
