A time-lapse video showing millions of pilgrims crossing over the Jamarat Bridge in Makkah has gone viral.
The video from the recent Haj was shared by the Saudi videographer Yasser Bikhsh on Twitter.
According to the Saudi Sabq online newspaper, over 300,000 pilgrims crossed the bridge every hour during the Haj. Over two million people performed Haj this year.
Al Arabiya added that the bridge was built in 1963 and was rebuilt in 2006 to cater to the growing number of pilgrims. The project was executed by 11,000 workers in three years.
