It is a long way to go before the Qatar row is resolved to the satisfaction of the four states, the UAE said.
In a tweet, UAE's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash said: "Addressing long term genuine grievances of the four states is at the heart of resolving Qatar's crisis; We are not there yet. That is the view from the Riyadh Summit."
This puts at rest the speculation over progress made in resolving the dispute at the Gulf Cooperation Council meeting held in Riyadh on Tuesday. Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani attended the summit and was received warmly by the Saudi Authorities.
