Police sources revealed shocking details regarding a brutal murder that took place after a World Cup match last week.
The Egyptian team had been playing a game against the Russian national team when the murders took place.
According to Arab sources, the killer was the father, who is also the son of the Egyptian actor Almersi Abu Abbas.
In the details, police received a tip off that a man found his wife and daughters murdered.
After investigating the incident, police discovered that the father had killed his wife and his two girls, aged 11 and 14, by strangling them.
He lured his wife into their room, locked the door, then strangled her. He then went to his daughters' room and killed one with a pillow and the other with a telephone line.
In order to divert attention from him as the killer, he pretended they were victims of a robbery, with 300,000 Egyptian pounds stolen as well as other items in the flat.
He had lost his fortune in the stock exchange and didn't want them to suffer poverty.
Sources revealed that he has been mentally ill for six years.
