As the blasts tore through neighbourhoods in Lebanon on Tuesday, one housemaid jumped into action to save a little girl from what could have been a tragedy at their home.
A home camera footage, which went viral on social media on Wednesday, show how the maid swooped up the child in her arms when the massive explosion rocked their home.
The video was among several clips that have sent newsfeeds abuzz, showing the devastating aftermath of the explosion that killed more than a hundred people and injured thousands.
The maid was cleaning up a covered balcony and the child was playing at a corner when, suddenly, their flat shook for a moment, the video showed.
The nanny stopped and looked around to check what was going on, until a bigger blast followed, rocking the balcony and tearing through the shades.

In a split second, she managed to grab the child and run into the house. It was a heroic act that earned praises from Netizens across social media channels.
Tuesday's blast at port warehouses that stored highly explosive material was the most powerful in years in Beirut, already reeling from an economic crisis and a surge in coronavirus infections.
President Michel Aoun said that 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate, used in fertilisers and bombs, had been stored for six years at the port without safety measures, and he said that was "unacceptable". He called for an emergency cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
