UAE charity distributes winter aid in Lebanon

 The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation will begin the second phase of its campaign, "UAE Response to Syrian Families and Affected Lebanese" in Lebanon from today onwards.
The move follows the directives of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
An official source in the Khalifa Foundation said that 3,500 families will benefit from the aid which is implemented by the foundation within the framework of its campaign for winter, 2016. The distribution of the aid will be overseen by the UAE Embassy in Beirut under the follow-up of Hamad Mohammed Al Junaibi, UAE Acting Charge d'Affaires at UAE Embassy in Lebanon.
The UAE's Response to Syrian Families and Affected Lebanese campaign began on the February 13 include aid assistance to Syrian and Lebanese families at a cost of Dh6 million.
