Expats to be deported from Kuwait for repeat traffic offences

Motorists were reminded to always follow traffic rules and to cooperate with authorities for the safety of motorists and other road users

Expatriates that repeat offences while driving will be deported from Kuwait, a top government official said.
According to Zawya, the Director of the General Public Relations and Security Media Department Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash disclosed that the ministry will deport expats who commit traffic violations repeatedly.
In a televised interview concerning the new traffic law and penalties introduced for the violations to impound the vehicle for two months, Al-Hashash mentioned that expats who repeats the violation of not using safety belt and uses mobile phone while driving will be asked to leave the country.
Al-Hashash called on the public to follow traffic rules and to cooperate with authorities for the safety of motorists and other road users.
