Expatriates that repeat offences while driving will be deported from Kuwait, a top government official said.
According to Zawya, the Director of the General Public Relations and Security Media Department Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash disclosed that the ministry will deport expats who commit traffic violations repeatedly.
In a televised interview concerning the new traffic law and penalties introduced for the violations to impound the vehicle for two months, Al-Hashash mentioned that expats who repeats the violation of not using safety belt and uses mobile phone while driving will be asked to leave the country.
Al-Hashash called on the public to follow traffic rules and to cooperate with authorities for the safety of motorists and other road users.
