The holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on Thursday, May 17 in Kuwait, said an astronomer on Sunday.
The crescent might not be visible in Kuwait and could only be seen through telescope, while the inhabitants of the Arab Maghreb (western Arab world) will be able to see the crescent clearly, Kuwait News Agency (Kuna) quoted astronomer Adel Al Saadoun as saying.
