Kuwait denies US troop withdrawal, says news agency hacked

Kuwait City - Kuna issues clarification tweets.

Kuwait's government said on Wednesday a report posted on the state news agency KUNA saying all US military forces in Kuwait would be withdrawn imminently was incorrect and that KUNA had been "hacked"
The statement denying the report about US troops was issued on Twitter by Tareq Al Muzarem, head of Kuwait's government communication office.

KUNA advises subscribers, readers its Twitter account has been hacked, thus it reserves legal right to prosecute any party or person behind such false news#kuna #kuwait
