149 suffer food poisoning after eating at falafel restaurant

Kuwait - They have been summoned as prosecution opens investigation.

Public prosecution of Kuwait has summoned 149 victims of food poisoning to investigate the various cases attributed to a falafel restaurant called 'Falafel Ala Kefak', local media reported on Saturday.
Kuwaiti Ministry of Commerce and Industry has submitted a complaint about the restaurant, as they await test results of the food samples to verify if the poisoning happened due to poor storage facilities or by someone.
A week ago, the ministry had announced that 149 persons suffered from food poisoning after eating at a restaurant in Hawalli governorate.
