In a fit of rage, a 16-year-old boy stabbed his elder brother, aged 18, to death after an argument over a TV remote control escalated.
The boy, who has been arrested, was watching TV with his elder brother in their family apartment in Kirikkale, Anatolia, in Turkey, on November 20.
The boys had a fight over which TV channel to watch after which the younger brother went into the kitchen to get a knife, Daily Mail quoted local media reports. 
He returned to the living room and stabbed his brother in anger, fatally wounding him. 
The family called for an ambulance and the injured boy, identified as IBK, was rushed to the Kirikkale Ihtisas Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
While the 16-year-old, identified only as BK, has been detained by the police. 
In a similar incident last month, a 13-year-old girl killed herself at her home in Nakuru County in western Kenya after an argument with her cousin over watching TV.
While in July, a young student from Kenya's Muranga County reportedly hanged himself to death after his cousin switched over the television channel.
