More than 35,000 iftar meals will be provided daily in the mosque

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre has completed its preparations to celebrate Ramadan, with the aim of providing an atmosphere of comfort and tranquility for the mosque's worshippers and visitors, who flock to it annually in increasing numbers during the holy month.
The mosque will open all its entrances to worshippers, allowing them to enter from the main entrance of the mosque, opposite the Arabian Gulf Street (Peace Gate - No. 6), and (Al Rahma Gate - No. 4) opposite Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum Street, and each of (Iman Gate - No. 3), and (Coexistence Gate - No. 7) opposite the Grand Mosque Street, and (Al Noor Gate - No. 5) opposite Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Street.
The gates will be opened to the worshippers at the time of Maghrib prayer.

More than 8,000 parking spaces and more than 70 electric vehicles were allocated to transport worshippers and provide various services that meet the needs of all segments of society.
The number of visitors to the mosque during the month of Ramadan last year reached about 1,604,170 worshipers and visitors.

The centre provided 8,379 parking spaces for worshippers, 1,500 of which were allocated for women on the northern side, taking into account proximity to prayer halls designated for women. The centre also took into account the needs of people of determination, for whom more than 60 parking spaces were allocated, including the parking spaces added this year in cooperation with the relevant authorities, which amounted to 1,800 additional parking spaces, on the Grand Mosque street adjacent to the mosque opposite Coexistence Gate - No. 7.
The centre, in cooperation with its strategic partner — over the years — Erth Abu Dhabi Hotel — has prepared to provide more than 35,000 iftar meals daily in the mosque.
