Four-day Eid Al Fitr holiday declared by Gulf country

Work will resume on Tuesday, June 19.


Kuwait's Civil Service Commission (CSC) has announced a four-day Eid Al Fitr holiday from Friday (June 15) to Monday (June 18), Kuna reported on Sunday.

Work will resume on Tuesday (June 19) whether Eid began on Friday or Saturday, CSC said in a press statement.

State authorities with special working hours are advised to arrange work timings in a way that serves the public interest.

These prayer timings are for Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman. For Abu Dhabi, add four minutes. Deduct four minutes for Ras Al Khaimah and Umm Al Quwain, and six minutes for Fujairah.
