The event is expected to cater to around 200 men and women from different nationalities that are being encouraged to fast on this day in order to get the real feel of the benefits of fasting.
The director of the Islamic Information Center, Rashid Al Junaibi said: "This year being the Year of Tolerance we have decided to host non-Muslims for a unique cultural experience that will enable them to understand the real essence of fasting as well as clear any misconception they might hold on the topic of Islam or Ramadan.
New converts from different religions will also grace the occasion and share their experience of fasting for the first time. A virtual experience corner will enable the guests to get a glimpse of the holy city of Makkah while another dedicated corner will be present to conduct free medical tests in collaboration with Saudi German Hospital.
"This event is ideal for anyone who is curious to try out fasting or likes to explore new cultures" Al Junaibi added.
