Dubai announces week-long Eid Al Fitr break for public sector

After the special week long Eid Al Fitr holiday announcement by the UAE Cabinet on Sunday, Dubai government also announced a long Eid break for the public sector.

According to a brief statement issued on Twitter, following the directives of The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Cabinet announced that the Eid Al Fitr holiday for the public sector will start on Sunday, June 2, for one week, with work resuming on Sunday, June 9.

The Government of Dubai's Department of Human Resources has announced that Eid Al Fitr holidays for the government employees will start on Sunday (June 2, 28 Ramadan) with work resuming on June 9, 2019.
On this occasion, the Department paid tribute to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and their brothers, members of the Supreme Council of the Union, to the people of the UAE and to the Arab and Islamic nations.
