With the advent of the Holy Month of Ramadan, public and private organisations launch volunteering campaigns, urging staff and residents to volunteer in road Iftar initiatives for motorists. This year, not just residents but even royals volunteered to distribute Iftar among motorists.
Earlier we had reported how young members of the Ajman royal family were spotted on the road distributing Iftar among drivers and pedestrians, including His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
Recently married Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was also seen interacting with volunteers in Dubai - in a viral clip - around Iftar time.
However, recently, a video of a UAE royal distributing Iftar has gone viral on social media.
His Highness Sheikh Dr Saeed bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan - a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family - in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police was seen distributing Iftar among expats and Emiratis at the Al Maqam intersection in Al Ain.

The royal was accompanied by members of his team who also volunteered in serving Iftar to motorists.
