Businesses in Sharjah will need special permits in order to extend working hours during Ramadan.
Sharjah Municipality announced on Tuesday that it had started issuing working permits to trading establishments, such as stores and shops that wanted to extend their working hours after midnight during Ramadan.

In an statement posted on Instagram, SM emphasised the importance of purchasing the permit, explaining that it can be acquired online too at www.shjmun.gov.ae.
It is noteworthy that some Arab countries have announced a highly likely date for the first day of the Holy month of Ramadan, while Oman officially declared May 17 as the first day of Ramadan.
