Expert committee finds structural defects, severe corrosion which 'requires direct and rapid intervention'
The five most expensive luxury properties launched across Dubai in the first half of 2020 ranged from Dh29 million to Dh120 million, according to leading high-end property brokerage Luxhabitat.
Located on the Palm Jumeirah and spread over 14,000 sqft, the three-floor One100 villa is the costliest unit launched in the emirate in the first half, costing Dh120 million.
The ultra-luxury home, conceived by the owner and Saota Architects, is equipped with five oversized VIP suites with the master extended to 1,300 sqft of space. It took over six years to build one of the swankiest villas that Dubai has on offer.
It has two world-class indoor and outdoor cinemas and a state-of-the-art home cinema with IMAX screen, 4K projector and Dolby ATMOS sound system.
The entire house is fitted with unique custom-made furniture and furnishings from ultra-luxury brands handpicked and sourced from around the world. ONE100 also boasts advanced voice-activated home technology system controlled from Apple's iPads.
As if that were not enough, the home also comes with a Ferrari 599 GTO and Rolls Royce Wraith in the luxury garage with a custom wall-to-wall LED screen.
The second, third and fourth most expensive properties launched in H1 are also allocated on the Palm Jumeirah. Signature villa costing Dh60 million is the second costliest unit that came onto the market this year, followed by a five-bed duplex penthouse on the Palm, which is the third costliest property, costing Dh42.9 million.
Another Signature villa priced at Dh35 million is the fourth most expensive unit while a 7-bedroom mansion on Dubai Hills is the fifth most expensive property that came onto the market with a price tag of Dh28.9 million.
