UAE's free Covid vaccine: Several teachers, school staff get jabs

Teachers, educators and schools staff are flocking to the UAE Ministry of Education headquarters to receive their free Covid-19 vaccine.

A special centre has been set up at the headquarters in Ajman, where the education community can get their jabs on January 13-14.

The ministry said there was a “remarkable turnout” on day one of the initiative that has been rolled out at the Teachers Training Institute.

The vaccines are available from 9am to 5pm. School staff and their families can take the jabs, the ministry added.
