UAE fog: Tips to avoid accidents, drive safely
Dubai - Motorists were advised to be extra cautious when driving in foggy conditions or low visibility.
Authorities have warned drivers of "low visibility due to fog formation on highways". Motorists were urged to take caution and follow the directions because of the dense fog in the early morning in most parts of the country.
>Drive slow: Don't be in a rush to get out of the fog.
> Avoid speeding and follow traffic instructions during foggy conditions.
> Make sure that you leave enough distance in the car in front of you
> Avoid sudden overtaking or changing lanes
> Use fog lights and avoid using hazard lights
