There's no need to travel to another country to see and experience something new. The UAE has a lot of interesting locations. Here are some of them. (KT Photo/Shihab)
LOVE LAKES, DUBAI - Located in Al Qudra, The two giant lakes take the shape of intertwining hearts. What's also interesting is that the trees are planted in such a way that it spells out the word 'love' from above.
SNOOPY ISLAND, FUJAIRAH - Just off the coast of Fujairah is Snoopy Island, look closely and at a certain angle and it looks like the iconic comic character lying down.(Photo/Wam)
ABANDONED PLANE, UMM AL QUWAIN - Located near a bunch of waterparks, the Abandoned Plane is a conversation starter with many theories as to how a Russian aircraft settled down in the UAE desert (KT Photo/Neeraj Murali)
LOUVRE, ABU DHABI - The sole branch of the Louvre outside of Paris, this museum houses some masterful works of art and relics from another time. They also have themed galleries every time. (Wam)
FUJAIRAH FORT - A structure symbolic of the UAE's cultural roots, step inside this fort to see how Emiratis use to live way back when. (Photo/Wam)
BONUS: SALALAH, OMAN - One glimpse and you'd think this is somewhere in Asia. But no, it's just right across the border in Oman. Want greenlands, fog and cool weather? Salalah is the place.
