Free visa application for select UAE residents to Japan
Dubai - Anyone who has a residence visa can apply.
According to information published on the official website: The Consulate General of Japan in Dubai is authorized to issue a visa to UAE nationals and other nationals with residential status in the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
“The visa application for UAE residents are completely free,” the Japan's visa information hotline (800-0311-0053) confirmed to Khaleej Times.
Normally, the application costs Dh100 for single entry, Dh200 for multiple and Dh25 for transit. For Indian passport holders, the prices are Dh30 for single/multiple and Dh5 for transit.
