Dubai Food Festival 2020 is well under way, lasting for 18 days across town. Now in its seventh year, DFF includes the Foodie Experiences Programme, Dubai Restaurant Week, the Etisalat Beach Canteen, Hidden Gems and brand-new to DFF 2020, ‘Home Edition’ and ‘Tasty Tunes’. Fireworks will mark each weekend of the event, starting tonight at Etisalat Beach Canteen at 8.30pm.

The city’s first eco-friendly food festival is coming to Souk Madinat Jumeirah this weekend. From tomorrow until March 7, Homegrown@Souk will have a week-long schedule of food and beverage masterclasses and its own Souk Restaurant Week. Also, a number of visitors to the VeggiTech Farmers’ Markets will be able to pick up free ingredients for one of three special recipe cards, engage with homegrown producers and learn more about produce options grown within a 50-mile radius.

The biggest annual choral festival in the region, ChoirFest Middle East, is bringing Canada’s premiere a cappella voice group, Cadence, to its calendar of events with a performance on Saturday at The Fridge in Al Serkal Avenue. Tickets are available  at platinumlist.net or at the door starting from Dhs30. Doors open at 5.30pm and concert starts at 6pm.
