Grocery stores and supermarkets to remain open during Covid-19 closures

As part of preventive measures, all restaurants, cafes, cafeterias, coffee shops and food service establishments across Dubai closed for two weeks starting from Tuesday, March 24. Only food delivery services and take away are permitted in the UAE.
Retail outlets have reassured consumers in the UAE that there is an ample supply of food and other commodities, therefore there is no need for panic buying.
The UAE leadership ensures that food and other essentials will be available for residents at all times. And true to their word, supermarkets have stocked up fresh fruits, vegetables, and other items reiterating that there is no need for shoppers to hoard.
