Dubai has suspended non-essential surgeries for a month and live entertainment in hotels and restaurants until further notice as coronavirus cases touched 3,529 on Thursday.

The Dubai Health Authority issued a circular on Wednesday to all hospitals stating that the decision to suspend elective surgeries will take effect on Thursday and could be extended.
