If your Halloween spirit requires a little boo-st, check out these top events taking place across the UAE
Go Brazil nuts. Get in to the South American spirit at Fogueira Restaurant and Lounge, Delta Hotels by Marriott in JBR, which is hosting a spooky weekend brunch on October 30 and 31. Get caught in a web of your meaty desires with an unlimited traditional churrasco BBQ from Dh179 per person. One lucky best-dressed guest will also brunch for free!
Petrifying park. Dubai’s notorious Halloween Fright Nights are back at Motiongate theme park with its third and spookiest edition yet, promising three weeks of terrifying experiences that will thrill the mind and chill the spine. Running until November 14, the Hollywood-inspired attraction has transformed into a place straight out of your darkest nightmares.
Thriller nights. It’s going to be an eerie time at Love Parties’ epic hidden brunch at Treehouse & Tersoro, Taj Hotel Dubai. Your body will start to shiver, and no mere mortal can resist Friday’s 1pm-4pm do. Enter the creepy graveyard themed venue and dress to impress because there will be prizes for the best costume on the day. Prices start from Dh325.
Sun scream. On Thursday, WHITE Beach is kicking off the celebrations with NIGHTDREAMERS ‘Nightmare’ edition. Taking place from 8pm-11pm, the venue will look to deliver an ultimate fright-fest. Dress up in your most terrifying attire and be prepared to feast for four hours on unlimited food, beverages and cocktails for Dh250 for ladies and Dh300 for gents.
Circus freaks. Cove Beach is going to transform into ‘Cirque d´Cove’ with a ghoulish bash. The fang-tastic activations and circus-themed party will feature fire-breathers, zombies and acrobats, while the resident DJ hits the deck with some seriously sinister tunes from 12pm till late in the night on Friday and the following day. Planet of the japes. Do you dare snorkel with piranhas? Those brave enough can actually get the chance this Halloween. The Green Planet has partnered with Al Boom Dive Center to create the first of its kind experience in the region. At Dh330, gear up with a wet suit and go behind the scenes to the ‘meat kitchen’ whilst receiving a full brief from the bio-dome’s expert biologist and receiving a back of house tour. Don’t fancy that much of a fright? Experience The Green Planet After Dark e very Wednesday, from 7pm-9pm and be greeted by all the nocturnal residents.
Howl-oween treats. Radisson RED welcomes pooches to come out and play ‘dress-up’ with everyone else on October 31 from 1 pm- 4 pm for a brunch especially made for little waggling tails. While the DJ sets the mood right, the brunch feast begins at the artistic street-level venue, OUIBar + Terrace with goody bags and treats for all. Dress your doggies in the cutest spooky outfit for a chance to win the “best-dressed pup” prize as well ‘trick or treat’ with your furry friends with a selection of pup cakes and ice creams.
Tokyo terror. Encounter the Geisha of Death, as KYO brings the spirit to town. Trick yourself with the chilling décor or treat yourself to spook-filled night of mysteriously delectable bites or seemingly gruesome yet appetising concoctions on Friday from 7pm to midnight. The best-dressed lady and gentleman shall walk away with a free unlimited Saturday Brunch till the end of the year. Prices start at Dh395.
Full body pump-kin. Scare off those calories ready for a weekend of trick or treating with a hell-ish BARE party. The Halloween-themed gym class will be packed with spider squats, pumpkin holds and zombie runs. Get down to BARE DXB in Business on Thursday at 5.30pm to take part and be in with a chance to win prizes.
Serial villa. A special treat awaits visitors to the Hilton Resort and Spa Ras Al Khaimah. Are you brave enough to stay in their unique Halloween themed villa? Indulge in a themed dinner at the Kitchen and breakfast the next day and be transported into your very own horror movie for one night. Starting price Dh1200.
Halloween paw-ty. One for the pets, Reform Social & Grill is throwing an extra special event for your favourite ‘creatures of the night!’ On Saturday from 7.30am to 10am, bring your four-legged friend for a morning of trick or treats and best dressed contents – prizes include a photoshoot, training sessions, a weekend stay at a pet-friendly hotel and personalised accessories. Tickets are priced at Dh100 per adult and include breakfast and three beverages.
Witch, please. On Thursday evening and Friday afternoon Mr. Miyagi’s is throwing two brunches. Five courses and three hours of drinks await from Dh249 per person. Inside the House of Horrors - it’s all frightful delights throughout the night. There’s a grand prize up for grabs worth Dh700 for best Halloween costume.
Creepin’ it real. Welcome to the Dark Side at the Treehouse of Horrors, Taj Dubai on Saturday. The urban rooftop bar overlooking the Burj district will offer specially crafted ghoulish cocktails with highlights from the menu including Venom, Bleeding Heart and Voodoo People. Party on down from 8pm.

Buoys and ghouls. Enjoy a thrilling tour around the QE2 in Dubai. Make your way through the ship meeting ghosts along the way a. The tour culminates at the 'haunted' Captain's Bridge where plenty of surprises are in store. This is an experience not to be missed!
