Mission: Impossible 7: The UAE has long enticed filmmakers from across the globe to capture the country in its varied hues - rippled desert dunes, panorama of coastline and incredible futuristic skylines. Even Covid hasn’t deterred film shootings here. As soon as pandemic restrictions were eased, directors and producers of two influential film industries - Hollywood and Bollywood, flocked to the country to shoot. One of the most famous film franchises in the world, Mission Impossible, is reportedly shooting its next installment here. While the jury is out on whether Tom Cruise has arrived on our shores or not, the film's director, Christopher McQuarrie, has created a buzz after he posted images of various locations thought to be from the UAE on his social media. Even the film’s lead actress Rebecca Ferguson has been tantalizing fans with such images.
