Ripe for business

The Ripe Markets and pop-ups across Dubai are the perfect place to shop, explore, and discover small homegrown businesses! Over the weekend they take place at three locations: Ripe Market, Springs Souk (Friday, 10am-late), Ripe Market, Times Square Center (Saturday 10am-5pm) and Ripe Retail Pop-Up, Nakheel Mall (Friday & Saturday 10am-7pm). There you’ll find a selection of local businesses selling everything from organic skincare, handcrafted leather bags, unique fashion, art and loads more!

Meat up

Smokehouse bbq and the pool – together the two shouldn’t work, but you know when you think about it there is nothing finer. Emerging from the cool water and sitting down to finely cooked meat doesn’t compare. Azure Beach at Rixos Premium Dubai, JBR is partnering with Dubai’s homegrown, smokehouse, The Mattar Farm Kitchen, to host a one-day pop-up on Friday from 2pm. The Mattar Farm Kitchen specialises in handcrafted Texan-style barbecue meat. Their menus have been featured at the UAE Embassy in Washington DC and at the world’s largest BBQ festival in Brazil.
