She confirmed to People magazine in August 2015 that she was being treated for the disease, and in April 2017 stated that post surgery, radiation and chemotherapy she was in remission. Sadly, by February 2020 the cancer returned and reached Stage 4. She spoke about it on 'Good Morning America', admitting that she didn’t disclose her diagnosis while filming the 2019 reboot of '90210' because “People with stage 4 can work too… Our life doesn’t end the minute we get the diagnosis. We still have some living to do.”
