ART FOR WELLBEING
Can art be therapeutic? That's what Louvre Abu Dhabi is investigating in its Arts for Health and Wellbeing webinar led by the museum's education department. Bringing together leading figures in museum-based health and wellbeing programmes, the experts will compare approaches in therapy and practices seen in different regions from around the world, as well as discuss the societal stigma around healing modalities. Expect informed opinions from big industry names including May Chung Khuen, Helen Jury and Dana Al Mazrouei. It's on tonight at 7pm via louvreabudhabi.ae
A one-of-a-kind installation will bring colour to life through an animated art display by two Dubai-based artists this weekend. Ariel Middle East is hosting PodArt, which will combine augmented reality and abstract art installations until October 24 at The Beach JBR and City Walk in Dubai. Artists Paul Bruwer and Dreams of Grandeur have paired up for the exhibit. It’s on from 1pm to 11pm each day.
Want a juicy sandwich but looking to cut back on meat? The UAE’s Gourmet Burger Kitchen has added vegetarian and vegan burgers to its menu just in time for World Vegan Month in November.
