My mother is my influencer

My mother has been my guide and counsellor and has helped me grow and become successful. In fact, she is still my confidante although she is living far away now after her retirement. I can never forget the number of times she has reprimanded me for doing wrong; the number of times she has followed me to my bus stop to revise notes just before an exam.. All mothers (more than fathers, I should say) would understand the apprehensions they have while raising a child. Her attitude and the way she conducts herself have been admired by others, and through her I have learnt the importance of being punctual and systematic.
Many things and many people have influenced me, but my mother has influenced me the most. And I still cling on to some of the advices she has given. We should all find time to be with our parents even if we lead busy lives.
