Woman tries to steal eight pairs of jeans by wearing them all

Several people commented that the woman might be in need of money.

A woman put on eight pairs of jeans, one over the other, at a clothing store in a bid to steal them, but was caught by security.   
A video shows her removing the trousers in a bathroom while a man filming can be heard counting them. The footage ends with the man counting eight pairs that the woman had put on all at the same time to give security guards a miss.
The video went viral in Peru where it has been viewed over 2.5 million times. Several people commented that the woman might be in need of money. One person wrote: 'People criticising her maybe she was starving and nobody can know how she felt in that moment'. While another wrote: 'She was wearing eight trousers and she looked very thin anyway'.
It is not known whether the woman was arrested or reported for her alleged attempted theft, but according to reports in The Sun, it is believed the woman was filmed in a bathroom in Venezuela, although the exact location is not known.
The country is currently going through political turmoil, hyper-inflation, civil unrest, reports of increasing starvation, crime and high mortality rates.
