Video: 1-year-old swallows nail clipper while playing 

Doctors found the 2.4 inches long nail clipper in the boy's stomach and performed a 25-minute procedure to remove it.

A 16-month-old boy swallowed a nail clipper while playing with his mother in China. The incident happened on April 17 when the boy grabbed the nail clipper from his mother and started playing. He was rushed to a hospital in Changchun in north-east China and doctors removed the object with an endoscope.
The toddler's mother said that while she was using the nail clipper the boy took it away from her and started running around in the house. When she started to chase her son, nicknamed Feifei, to take the object from him, he thought she was playing with him and put it in his mouth, according to New Culture Post report.
Doctors at the Changchun Children's Hospital found the 2.4-inch-long nail clipper in the boy's stomach and performed a 25-minute procedure with an endoscope to remove it successfully. The boy was put under general anesthetic during the procedure.
